4 artists over a cup of tea and a bottle of water decided to do a project together:
Noor Yousuf, Hassan Mujtaba, Nadia Niazy and my self, Manizhe Ali. Out of the four only Hassan is from Lahore the rest of us are from Karachi.
Hassan took the responsibilty of sending us the paper from Lahore -- and it is lovely paper. The paper finally arrived in karachi on the 5th of April and the first date of exchange is the 5th of May 2010.
Hassan Mujtaba here from Lahore =). Oh yes that was a very productive evening with these three artists from Karachi, I met them first time but never felt like that. "The Project" is a process which has a very especial expression of sharing ourselves on a single surface just like a conversation around the table among four strangers, who know each other. But this time, table has removed and we are not sitting face to face but yes there are visuals which have started talking now. =)
